Dr. Concepción Pla (Female) – B.Eng. Civil Engineer, M.Eng. Geological Engineer and MSc Degree in Water Technologies, received his PhD. degree in the UA in 2017. She developed her PhD focused on the study of tracer gases in indoor environments (underground caves) and the gaseous movement through the vadose zone. She has a full-time position at DIC-UA and is member of the research group INGHA. Her research is focused on the study of fluid and solute transport through porous media with in situ and laboratory experimentation. In addition, she also works on the study of underground aquifers with the development and application of methodologies for the hydrogeological characterization and modelling taking into account the future scenarios of climate change.
