Under the activities of the 3rd in-person meeting for RESERVOIR project partners in Jordan, a field trip scheduled to the study area in Jordan Azraq water reserve on May 12. This was done in order to investigate the water and hydrogeological setting of the case study area. Sink holes had been noticed throughout the Azraq oasis, and RSCN team showed that there are many more sink holes spread out around the region.
A physical model for the groundwater basin and different aquifers within the basin was shown by the RSCN team, this model was built as one of the Project outcomes in order to increase the awareness for the visitors of the Azraq water reserve toward the water situation within the basin.
